Ok I fail at updating my LJ or even coming to LJ now days lol.
So uhh i'll start with some "reviews"
Ghost Rider was a pretty good movie despite most the reviews I read before seeing it saying the second half just slowed to a crawl but I didn't notice that. Would have been much better if he didn't beat each villain in like 5 seconds and think the movie should have been much darker and rated r, but was good overall for being pg-13. Would say wait and rent it unless you are a big Ghost Rider fan and wait to see either TMNT later this month or Spider-man 3 coming out in May.
The Showdown's new cd Temptation Comes My way - Good cd but was expecting more and most the songs I like on it are the ones I could just listened to online free. Was only $8 at BestBuy though so can't complain, might like it better after listening to it fully a couple more times.
Ok then that brings me to saturday I guess, which was an awesome night. Scars Remain tour! Driving around having the wrong street # looking for the place for like 30 mins then stood in the rain for an hour or so to wait to get in. One group of guys said they drove from the Keys which is crazy far drive just to goto the show. Missed getting to hear Decyfer Down except the little bit you could hear outside. FireFlight was great to hear live for more then just one song unlike on New Years. Family Force 5 just super crazy and awesome live, was great when they played Numb they asked everyone to stop moshing and stuff to allow people to breakdance. Then came Disciple who words can't describe, seen them two other times but the last time they only got to play like 4 songs. This night they were beyond amazing and played around 20 songs due to when playing the old songs they just went from one right to the next. After it was all over I stood outside near the bathrooms to cool down and just happened to be where FF5 walked by when they went to go back into the building to sign autographs and stuff so got to high 5 all them but one. Was sore the next day lol still could barely walk till tuesday but was worth it. :P
Seems like if I don't find a job then i'll be going back to my old job next month or so which is better then nothing I guess and with mostly all new people working it might be better. |
